Materials management in the OktoPOS system comprises the following modules:

  • Inventory
  • Order recommendation list
  • Purchase order
  • Goods delivery
  • Waste recording
  • Expected stock levels
  • Expected vs. actual stock levels
  • Material consumption

Since materials management is done in the web-based OktoPOS Manager, stock levels can be taken with a mobile device like an iPad.

The expected material consumption is the consumption of sellable goods, components and raw materials that is calculated by the system.

The expected material consumption can be followed live in the OktoPOS Manager as all transactions of the branch are executed directly on the webserver.

The purchasing prices of articles can be set depending on location, supplier and order unit. Independent of this, a monetary value for inventory purposes can be defined.

The articles are assigned to the suppliers where they are listed.
